“Ordered the meat platter, side of potato salad with a cup of gumbo to share and it was the perfect portion for two. The smoked chicken and brisket was delicious but the sausage and the ribs stole the show. Potato salad was a very generous portion and paired well with the meats. The gumbo hit the spot! Thick chunks of sausage and chicken, I would have been happy with a whole bowl vs the cups but I wanted to try everything else! Atmosphere was laid back with history of the area on the walls. Variety of items for purchase to take home extras as well!”

“I’m no bbq expert but this is some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Chicken was a little dry but everything else cooked to perfection. Great gumbo and deviled eggs. And the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever tasted. Efficient friendly service. Nice clean atmosphere. Will definitely come back to try other things gs on varied menu.”
